Born in Quakertown, I grew up in Richland Township, Bucks County,
Pennsylvania on land that was part of my grandfather's farm. I
graduated from Quakertown Community High School where I was a student
government leader and helped form Student Aid for the Environment.
After graduating from DeSales University with a B.A. in Political
Science I served on the Richland Planning Commission where I helped
develop the township's first comprehensive plan. Soon after I moved to
Washington, D.C. to cover politics and offer analysis as a senior
staff writer for the National Journal.
After seven years in journalism I accepted a position at Wal-Mart
Watch, a national organization dedicated to reforming Wal-Mart's
business model. I identified breaking news and created rapid response
content for its blog. In 2009 I earned a certificate in labor
relations from Cornell University.
My love of Pennsylvania and desire to fight for her working families
brought me back to the 145th District where I have lived for the past
eight years. Currently I am an elected Democratic Committeeman in
Richland Township as well as a candidate for state representative..
Please vote for me in the Democratic primary May 20 and let me serve
you in Harrisburg.
